In Hong Kong, Star Properties operates under the name Star Properties (Hong Kong). Its two main property activities are property development and property investment.
In property development, the Company develops industrial, commercial, residential, and retail properties. After acquiring development sites or existing buildings, the Company makes a scheme for redevelopment or enhancement depending on the situation.
Star Properties projects always focus on good concept, innovative design, user experience, and value creation.
Completed projects in Hong Kong up to June 2022 include (a) The Galaxy; (b) The Star; (c) The Rainbow; (d) The Cloud; and major projects under development in Hong Kong include (e) Wang Yip Street West, Yuen Long (After The Rain ATR) and (f) Wai Yip Street, Kwun Tong. There are also projects that are sold before it is all completed, and that includes the Chai Wan Kok Street in Tsuen Wan.
In property Investment, the Company is engaged in acquiring properties and then creates rental and thus capital appreciation. Such properties are either rented out to third parties, or are used for operating the Group’s other businesses under Metropolitan Lifestyle Subgroup, which covers the provision of serviced apartments, co-working spaces, storage, etc. As of June 2022, the Company holds a portfolio including industrial properties, commercial properties, retail shops and car parks.
